Here’s how it works:
If you HAVE a 529 savings plan for your child.
- Your child will receive a contribution from a loved one.
- The full contribution amount goes to your child. There is a small transaction fee that your loved one pays in addition to the contribution amount.
- You will be notified by email. You can track every donation including your total balance on your administration page.
- During the month, your child’s contributions will be held in an FDIC, non interest bearing account.
- On the 1st of every month, your child’s contributions will be automatically deposited into his/her 529 account that is linked to the website.
If you DO NOT have a 529 savings plan set up yet.
- You will automatically be enrolled in our “Brighter Future Challenge.”
- Your child will receive a contribution from a loved one.
- The full contribution amount goes to your child. There is a small transaction fee that your loved one pays in addition to the contribution amount.

- During the “Brighter Future Challenge,” your child’s contributions will be held in an FDIC, non interest bearing account, until completing the challenge.
- Once your child completes the challenge and is able to set up a 529 plan, we will link it to the website and he/she will continue to receive donations which are deposited directly into the account.
